My GS500E vibrates a lot

Hello!
I've had my red 97 naked G500 for a year now.

I read that the GS500 should be smooth, but mine vibrates a lot above 5krpm, my hands tingle for hours even after a short ride.

I have no bar ends, could that be the culprit?
Did valves and a bench sync this winter, and bike seems stock so I don't think the balance shaft is ripped out. Considering making some lead filled 3d printed bar ends, or does anyone have a good cheap se5 of weighted ends that they can recommend?

Engine is solid mounted right, so no bushings to worry about?

Any advice helpful, love the bike but the vibrations are just killing me

Have you tightened every bolt of the frame and engine?
Also check the tank is not vibrating to the frame, it has some rubber dampeners.

Actually had a look at the tank dampeners, the tank was not even bolted to the bike when I bought is. Now it's bolted on with rubber dampeners.

I'll check all the frame bolts, any others things I should look at?

Every bolt and rubber. Exhaust. Dash..
I would also check steam bearings if the bike is in that condition, not because of vibration but I imagine they are shot.

Chain an also vibrate, you can test to put bike in neutral or clutch and try to see if acceleration over load is the problem. If it vibrates in motion or standing still... Try things

Bar-end weights DO help I've found.
Beam me up Scottie....
