Rear brake bleeding/flushing

How hard is it to flush the rear brakes on the 2007 GS500? Will it become spongy if I don't have a brake bleeder tool?

I ask because I have a Triumph Sprint and unless you have the right gear and can pull the fluid through in a constant stream without stopping you will end up with a spongy pedal. I had to pay for mine to be done on the Sprint as I couldn't bleed it properly using a manual stop-start method and neither could the PO and he is pretty handy on bikes.

If I need a tool and the knowhow to do it right I will hold off and get it done by my closest bike shop when it's ready to hit the road in a few months time.

the circuit is pretty short, you can do it with classic method.
pump,release,close,pump,release,close
you need 8mm wrench,a hose+container and a phillips screwdriver

Bled the rear brake today. Worked fine using the old school manual method. That's something else ticked off the list.
