I went to turn on my bike, 2002 GS500, and got nothing. No power, no lights, nothing.

Could this be caused by a faulty fuse?

odb0,
Start with the obvious. Battery. Is it present? Dose it have juice?
The only fuse is on the starter solenoid.
Look at the connection for ignition switch. Check the individual connectors in the plug.
Check the continuity of the kick stand switch & clutch switch. lmk, what you get.
On the( - )connection to the battery, is there a 14 guage wire with a black wire w/white strip?
If not, find it and re-connect it to the (-) terminal

Yeah the battery is there. I tried charging it but still nothing. I was thinking it might be the ignition key switch. Everything was working fine a couple days before this.

Use a tester or a test light to check the path of current.
You can't even jump start it bridging the two thick wires of the solenoid.
You need ignition, spark circuit energized.

If everything was fine recently check every cable, clean, and tighten with dielectric grease, especially grounds.
