Awhile back this bike started to die on a ride like it was fuel starved. The stock gas tank petcock was not flowing so I ended up getting rid of the stock one for a pingel high flow. While I was at it I decided to cap all the vac lines and bypass the second petcock. The bike will start and idle but gas is pooring out of the tailpipe. I dissconnected the tank all together and put fuel in the line so im pretty sure its not the high flow petcock. Changed the spark plugs, Made sure it was firing on both cylinders, checked the float and needles, adjusted the float hieght, checked floats for leaks and cracks by submerging in water, changed the needle seat O ring. Blew air into the fuel inlet to make sure the needles are cutting off flow when they should, everything checks out so im at a loss. Next step is going to be hook up the secobd petcock n rehook up the fuel vac line but Im assuming others have gotten these pingel high flows to work. Any help would be great

Doesn't sound like the petcock, since setting the original 2nd petcock in "prime" basically operates as a straight gravity feed line. Generally this would diagnose as a float/float needle problem. Not sure what you meant by capping all the vac lines (?)
Keep all your carb vents/hoses in stock set-up for the time being to rule out carb venting issues. Esp. check that the carb vent line from the large T between the carbs (intake side)is open.

Also. pics would help.

Im not the original owner. Stock configuration is not an option.I tossed the OEM airbox for a KnN lunch box. Ill try to get some pics. I have all the Vac inputs and outputs on the carb capped off and just have the main fuel line going into the carb

make sure to cap the vacuum line on the intake you didnt use.

The main air vent to the carbs needs to be open. It is the large T between the carbs at the intake side.
