Yea, I thought his bike still looks bad ass and I am glad to finally see pics of it. I was going to make a smart ass comment about Ken never posting a pic but now it seems inapropiate.
Poor guy must get a jolt of pain, with every breath :(
On his tombstone were the words "I told you I was sick!"

RoundBall

I think he would not like  :guns:  if you will post this pictures there.

Do not do that.

The Buddha

Yes the bike does look more like it hit a hay bale than anything hard... Which probably is the case. That's why I was hoping he wasn't hurt too bad when I first saw the bike. Anyway... i was thinking I'd go there this weekend for dropping off the crae package... but I guess most of the mail etc you guys have sent wont make it before then... So I will go next weekend... How's that... also gives more time to buy the right things for the package. Any ideas on what and where to get it. I dont mind doing the legwork... but my poodunk town doesn't have too many hip places to get stuff though.
Cool.

I packed up the tank last night and just cut a check to Srinath for the paypal monies. I'm heading to PakMail at lunch to ship it. Ken's wife gave me a list of movies and magazines Ken would enjoy while he's laid up that I PM'd to Srinath.

octane

And thank you Srinath for picking up the rest of the stuff and getting it to Ken!

The Buddha

K you sending the tank to him right... or is that also comming to me. And that PM... well I dont know where any of that stuff is available so I'll post it here and see what you guys come up with.
Cool.

This is what Octane PM'ed me after talking to Ken's wife...

Movies: Anything race related, bike related, old war, submarine movies and what he calls "killer B movies" such as "Hell comes to Frog town" and "A boy and his dog" (don't ask, it was a NAVY thing)Magazines: Anything British about bikes or mini coopersHe also loves to watch motorcycle races that we sometime tape.

So I am blank... where do we get this stuff... OK fine bike races etc maybe bike stores... but what else...
Cool.

Guess I was confused there Srinath, I sent it to you since I thought you were going over to see him this weekend. It will be delivered to you Friday. I thought it should go with the rest of the stuff since it's from the group. Sorry if that complicates things.

The Buddha

Ok if the stuff will be here friday its fine I'll make the run this weekend... If stuff is outstanding/pending mail delivery etc... I'll do it next weekend. Is that OK guys... Lemme know .. and I'll keep y'all posted as the checks etc come in.
Cool.

i've got a buddy whose got a dvd of stunt riding and stuff like that. should i dub that off onto tape for him?
If you think you can, don't. Many things start with "I think I can," and end with "Ow!"

Yes please and send it to me. 9227 swallow tail lane, Charlotte NC 28269. Say ken's Care package on it... so I wont open it. So any gift wrapping etc you want to do will all get to him. Any more things like these are going to be great... cos they cost nothing - very little and will give ken the effect that will bolster him mentally and physically... so We could actually give him a cash gift which might help out a lot more while it might be a little crude... however things like the tape etc will make it more of a package... Just random thoughts...
Cool.

A boy and his dog. That is a weird show there. It is one of Don Johnson's first films I think. He speaks telepathically with a sheep dog all through it. Funny! :thumb:

addressed to Seshadri Srinath, Srinath Seshadri, or just Srinath, or just adressed to Ken's Care Package, or perhaps addressed to Yo Dude?

Wonder if Ken has MotoGP for the PS2 or PC. He may need it for little practice.
