OK-

I'm ready to put a wider wheel on my '01, since I'll need new tires soon anyway, but an old post I read confused me.  I thought that the only options were the '88-89 GSX-R 750 and Bandit 400.  But the post mentioned others including Bandit 600 and SV.  What exactly is doable, and what ate the specific madel/years?  Thank you for your help.

The '88-'89 gsxr and bandit 400 (only available in US for '91-'93) are the only commonly available (I use the term loosely) wheels that have been proven to work.

Others have suggested that a bandit 600 or sv650 wheel might work but no one has actually done it that I know of.

your best bet is the gsxr or bandit400 wheel. Note that the 88-89 gsxr is the ONLY one that works.
