2001 Bandit 1200 Seat

Does anyone know if the 2001 bandit 1200 seat is the same seat that was used on the 2001 GS 500??  :dunno:   Or how someone could go about finding this info out?

Doubt it, but you could cross reference the part numbers...or borrow one from a Bandit and test fit.

I ride with bandit guys regularly. I'llcheck it out. may take a week or two. Pm me in a couple of weeks if you dont hear back.

I recall looking at them and thinking they were wider than the +01 gs500 seats but looked similar.

did a ride with a buddy today. checked his b12 seat against my 2001 gs seat. while they look the same they are subtley different and dont fit one to the other. the bandit is wider and how it meets the tank is different. we couldnt even get mine to sit on his bodywork at all.

short answer: NO.
