New York City - help identifying landmarks - see pics inside

I need help identifying these landmarks for photo captions for the literary journal I am in charge of.  The photographer is not around so I can't ask her.  (I think all these pics are from New York)

Any help would be most appreciated!!!

#4 is the Flatiron Building, one of the first modern skyscrapers.  

Wild-assed Guesses:

#1 is St. Patrick's Cathedral?
#2 Ellis Island?
#4 Rockefeller Plaza (NBC ad was my clue)?

Perhaps doing a google on Manhattan architecture or landmarks will help you out.  Else, PMing some New Yawkers on the board?

#3 is 55 water street, around the wall street area.
#4 is the flatiron building
#5 Is one of the main Times Square Billboards...not sure the name fo the building.
#6 looks like the central park lake, although the bridge doesn't look very familiar

I just noticed that the building that is cut off on the left side of unknown #2 is cut off on the right side of #3 (55 Water Street), so it's part of the same complex.  I doubt if #1 is St. Patrick's Cathedral-- it's too small.  That could be some Gothic house or other building...

#2 and #3 are in Boston, not NYC.

#2 is Long Wharf, I believe.
#3 on the left, is the back of the New England Aquarium.  The "tower" is the Customs House.  Note the name of the boat: "Bay State".  The building on the left of #2 and on the right of #3 is the Mariott Long Wharf hotel.

Are you serious?  I suppose you're right.  Looking at Marriott Long Wharf web page it's deffinitly the same hotel.
