To continue with the hit and run story on my Truck....

I finally got the kid face to face two weeks ago.... demanded the REAL insurance information (the policy number he gave me had cancelled in July 03). He stammers that it's the right info.... I talk to his friend who he showed up with (his car has been gone since a day or two after he it my truck)... His car was repo'd and his insurance has lapsed.......

He says he'll pay for it out of pocket..... I had an estimate done and it's about 1500$ (verbal)  with everything (rental etc..) ...  I tell him he owes me 1500$.... He semi-balks at it  that day ....

I gave him 14 days to come up with it... That was yesterday...and who had to call who.... I had to call that Mother Fucker.....He calls me back and says " I want to do this the right way."....


He wants to do WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!

All of a sudden he wants to do this the right way ....the right way...like hitting my truck and not leaving any info...like giving me known BS insurance information..... The right way ....

I damn near broke the phone hanging up on him.... the only thing that kept me from going to Jail last night was my boss lives downstairs from this @$$hole and heard me pull up in my truck and intercepted me...

I'm so beyond  ready to hurt this kid....

have you called the po-po?  you could always threaten a lawsuit.

Yeah, if this kid agreed to it. Have him sign some kind of written contract admiting guilt and saying he'll pay you . If he keeps jerking you around, it will hold up in court.

He admitted to it...the police have been  called (weeks ago) and I have it in writing that he will pay for the damages.....

He's just a piece of shaZam! who's living on borrowed time...

Estimate in hand...(I was $18 off the figure I told him...it's 1518$ not 1500$)..

The police will be coming one way or another  when I'm there to collect...
