My yamaha virago black box... had a 35 cent capacitor that had gone to heaven... replaced that... took 3 mins... and ran like a bat from hell. Odd thing... it would run great once it got hot... but when it wasn't it was running only on the fornt cylinder. Then I remembered these semi conductors and ceramic crap... actually have resistance that goes down when they get hotter... So it was shorting and getitng hot... and then started working. The capacitor had blue liquid on it... meaning it was boiled over... and hence is now a lower capacity if its even alive... and that blue was hard to see due to the fact they had some goo on the thing to keep it from vibrating itself to bits.
