The basics ....

Where can I go to see the basic info on the bike? Like I want to know what the various postions of the petcock are?  ...e.g. What position does it have to be to be in reserve ... What are all the petcocksetting ... etc? I have the clymer manual but I caould not find that info in there...

Maybe the owners manual?  :dunno:  I have never really read one, so I am not sure what is all in them.

I found the diagram you're looking for in the first few pages of the Troubleshooting chapter.  (In the 1989-1996 version of the Clymer manual it's Figure 3 on page 39.)
