srinath's NEW bars pix and more

check out a few detail pix of srinath's bars. got them installed last week (two weeks ago maybe?) but with all the crappy weather i've been lazy about the pix.

so far i'm very happy. my lil gs looks like a friggin cafe racer!! i love the aggressive forward position it gives me and has totally changed the handling for the better.

here's a couple more from my 6+ hour ride on saturday. followed this route and added some new twists and turns of my own (i was NOT lost, i swear

how much clearance do you have do you know?...I'm jsut afraid that it'll hit the bigger tank on the 03s

Heres a pic fom my site showing old bars on the left, Srinath's on the right at full lock. I don't know how much closer they would be with the new style tanks though.

i believe i have around 2-3" of clearance at full lock. i can double check on that.

/\---I figures out that mirrors or for bitches. As soon as you get a flat bar, no mirors, fenderectomy, and some big rubber on the GS, its starts to look bad ass for sure.
His Bike does look rad though hey? I love the look.

One thing about the bars and mirrors though. They highlight just how butt ugly those stock turn signals are. :lol:

Also the other things that start to look odd are the silver headlight shell... IMHO it should be black, the Top triple... black again, dash... black... the ears... black... When in doubt... paint it black.
