There is a 92 Bandit 400 for sale for $1500 OBO with 24K on it.  The bike looks fairly clean but has been down it appears, broken ball on the brake lever.  Also The corners of the tank seem to have something going on.  Don't know if it is rust trying to come through or what.  Are these problems like the GS tanks?  It will need tires fairly soon also.  Just wanted some opinions.  Would it be worth while to switch from the GS or not.  I like the looks of the Bandit better but if there is no real performance difference I don't want to bother with selling the GS and all.  Sorry for the ramble.

screw that bike dude, slap a flashlight  on it and a brake light, and learn your hand signals and break out that mille!  Or go get you an R6 or something.

Yeah for some reason I have really gotten in to riding underpowered bikes on the street.  Mainly out of necessity due to a near lost license.  Also with that comes HUGE insurance premiums on a Mille that is ridden on the street.  Thus the small displacement cheap bikes for the street.  Besides it is sooo much fun dusting off squids on $8-10K sportbikes on a $500 GS!

Good point, but I saw a bandit for sale in fl, for like 1200. It was in fair shape as well. I have never ridden the bandit but wouldn't mind trying it out.
