I just rebuilt the forks and putting progressive spring in aswell as changing out a leaky fork seal, and I have damaged both of them.  If someone could measure for me that would be great. I figure it's a 3-??? something or other.
Just to clearify it's the o-ring on the top plug of the fork.

Thanks A Lot,

Regards,

David

I have my forks apart in my garage right now, but I'm confused what measurement you want.  Can't you just measure the diameter of whatever the o-ring fits around and call it a day?

Hey, Diderich

I've worked with o-rings in the past and the imperial measurement / sizing is in a numerical format such as a 3-121 (3 being thickness) (121 being the diameter.)

However if you could just give me the diameter and the thickness that would at least put me on the right track! I guess the OD and ID would be ideal!

Thanks for your time!

David.

Sorry I'm not able to get on this so often.  I'll look this afternoon when I get home and post back.  You want the gasket on the fork cap right?  At the very top of the fork that keeps the spring from coming out and hitting you in the face when you hit a bump, right?

Diderich

od = 35.5 mm
thickness = 3.25 mm.
