Briggs

Air jets are sometimes called pilot jets. Make sure you get non bleeder type pilot jets.
1989' GS500 - V&H Exhaust, K&N Pod, 137.5, 40, no washers
89' GSX-R rear rim, 150/60, and Katana shock

No air jets are not pilots jets... if you look the back of the crab... the end that goes into the air filter there are 2 brass things... those let in air to propel the fuel air mix from lower in the bowl ... sorta like a paint sprayer. The jetting we are talking about is based on the stock air jets... change the air jets and the formula may not be the same any more. I have has one carb where those were chewed up... I guess you can replace them and still get a nice running bike but for our rejetting purposes those are stock, and work just fine.
Cool.

You need 2 of each.  1 main and pilot for each carburetor plus if you're using 2 washers to shim the carb needle then you will need a total of 4.

Clear?

ASLAM.
