so i finnally got around to swapping out my rear shock with the kat 600 i bought like 4 months ago.  the problem i have now though is that it wont fit?  i dunno if the guy gave me the wrong shock or what? but the shock i have doesn't have the double clevis that the stock has.  it's only a single hole on top and on the bottom?  anyone have any ideas on what i can do?  is there a wayy to just swich out that part?

thanks for the help.

It's the wrong shock alright. The Kat 600 is configured the same as the stock.

yep-wrong shock. you gotta look at it and make sure it looks identical. get seller to refund money. it is DEFINITELY not a kat 600 of the year you were likely told (its probably an older one).

All katana were eyelet on top and clevise on the bottom, this must be a 86 GSXR 1100 shock... Total and utter crap. People switch their linkages ... which BTW needs re fabbing a linkage... just so they can run the eyelet and clevise shock. Post a pic... I'll confirm.
