Will next years model GS500F keep the fairings or do you think Suzuki will go back to naked models??

I doubt that suzuki would go to the trouble of developing and manufacturing a fairing specifically for the GS only to offer it for a single year.  They will no doubt be selling faired versions for a long time to come in order to reap the profits of the design process.

the real question is... will they start offering the unfaired version in addition to the faired version in the US?

time will tell.  Its really way too early to be getting into the 05 and 06 model discussions.....

although I did hear that next years GS500F will come with a special WarnerBrothers edition with a DVD player, cupholders, and I'm also thinking about getting the optional ball-hitch on the back fender so I can tow my truck down to bike-week next summer!!!   cool  8)

Do they not sell the GS500E over there any more?? - we have both the F and the E over here.

Well I'm glad, I like the full fairings on this bike. I hope Suzuki keeps that style.

I'm sure but  many users here like the old school style since they have been manufacturing it for many years but I think this model (2004) will attract new people like myself and new people to this website.

This bike will be my first and my impression is very positive.
1) I like the new style
2) Engine has been in market for a while
3) Cheap to fix and replace parts
4) Not to much power but enough to haul my butt around
5) looks like a mini Busa

My only dislike is Single not Dual break rotors in front

i agree. i'm seriously considering selling my E and buying an F, since it will be many many many years before i can rightfully consider buying a GSX-R.

Two discs would have been much better, but much more expensive. and if i recall correctly, that can be remedied by retrofitting a Kat front end onto the GS, no?
If you think you can, don't. Many things start with "I think I can," and end with "Ow!"
