I posted earlier about getting my bike back from the suzuki dealer spending 450 bucks.  well I was just out riding it and all the sudden no breaks!!!  I was just comming to a stop sign and was fortunate enough to be able to engine break and using the feet to come to a stop before I got myself in trouble.  SO I look down and the front break assembly is just dangling by the break line.  I couldn't beleive it, I was soooo pissed.  My rear break pads are bad and i'm going to get those replaced soon thats why I have no rear breaks.

I'm just so pissed. I coulda been killed b/c some dumb shaZam! didn't bolt the assembly back to the bike.

Tomorrow i'm going straight down there and i'm going to Buddha Loves You out somebody.

Thank the Lord i'm still allive,
Matt

I just had my valves done and was pleased as a pig in shaZam!, bike running perfect.  I was 300 yards from the Holland tunnel and the plug portion of the valve cover gasket blew out.  Oil all over my right leg and all over the bike.  Good thing it did not get on the rear break.  Put the plug back in and held it in place with a rag and some tie wraps which were provided by two mechanics at a bus depot that was nearby.  My mechanic was embarassed as hell.  It looks like the gasket was defective.   I was able to chip off pieces of the plug with my finger nail.  The thing was brittle.  Probably too old.  I would have been really pissed if I got stuck in the tunnel.

thats just what happened to me yesterday mp...and i just replied to ya in my post about that thing (lol)  Hey i had to shave a bit off that half circle bit and plugged it back in with a lot of work but i obviously need a new one (which was already ordered) still...does pressure build up in that area of the engine enough to blow out that bit of rubber..??? or was it just a faulty gasket..??  probably both. :dunno:

Usually over filled oil causes excessive crank case pressure. or maybe the breather tube or the little wire mesh "filter" is clogged.
