In the past month, I have 2 friends wanting to take up motorcycling, and another one wanting to get back into it.  :)  And last year, I caught the disease from my friend

One of my friends definitely wants to get a GS (she's postponing a purchase until she gets closer to her MSF class).  The other one... well he wants to put the cart before the horse and buy the bike first, without having a riding partner to teach him (he's outside of Boston).  He needs to get educated though... Not knowing the relative power and capabilities between the 500's, supersport 600's and such.  Doesn't even know the names of the bikes   He does want a beginners bike though... I strongly suggested the GS, although he says there's a Kat 600 nearby that he has his eye on.  Dunno... it's not a beginner bike, but it isn't the rampaging machine of death that a GSXR is

I think it's cause gas is sooooo expensive and that whole scooter explosion has people looking at two wheelers as viable again. I keep seeing more and more bikes in my 'hood.
Send your friend here - we'll set him str8.

I bought my bike a month ago, my best friend bought his 1 week after that, a guy I work with bought one two weeks ago, my cousin took the riders safety course but hasn't gotten a bike yet, soon though, and now my dad is thinking about getting one lol.  You bet it's catchy!!!

My strain of the disease was dormant in my grandpa's shed for 20 years, then he gave me the YG1 to fix up and start riding.  My dad suddenly got the disease too, he bought a 71 CB450 to completely restore.  As soon as he's done with that(another week or two) he has plans for another restoration bike, maybe a rotary powered Suzuki RE5.  Now my friends are starting to get it.  There are at least 2 that are strongly considering getting bikes this summer.  Who knows where the disease will spread next!

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??
