Hi Guys,
I hope everyone, got home aright today man  the wind was really bad down my way today *sp later on When it was time to go home I got blown all over the place  :o  I stop twice because it was way too strong.

panik, I have seen the rest of the pics of your bike &  where it happen. maybe we should give the Putty Road a miss since you & Ben have both come off there :(  it looks like a ok ride but? I realy hate when I hear about a fellow ride who has come off it's not good. I was reading in the group that two other rides come at the same place & time. anyway Take care & Ride Safe Everyone :)

all the best matt :) your friend

Wish I did :(  but the only thing I know about is the Givi screens also the 1/4 faring from Suzuki but it costs heaps. I did a price check on the Aluzzouro faring (or how ever else its spelt) it it will cost a tad over $2000 to bring into the country not to bad a price when you consider a TCP faring from the UK is much the same price i think and dont look half as good.

Hi lads,
Well its been quiet in the old aussie thread lately! Good to get some rain but made it intersting on the bike!
Panik, whats happening? Hows the bike hunting going??
Hope everyone else is staying upright. We need to organise the next ride day. Im still thinking of the putty, that is a great bit of road. What does anyone else think? LW, hows benny?? Say gday to him and Geoff for me.
Cheers all, catch up soon. :thumb:

Lukewarm Wilson

Hi Muldoon and everyone, yeah bloody rain and wind have kept me off the bike for about 3 weeks now starting to wonder if I can still ride  but yeah we need the rain so just have to live with it but the itch to go scratching is getting to much hopefully I'll get out on the weekend thats the hope anyway.
Ben and Geoff are well ben should get his bike back next week if all goes well. I have another friend named Steve who will be picking up his new Bandit 1200 next Friday so I'll need to get in practice because he is a GUN been riding since he was 9 and is a total hoon so it will make for some interesting rides so if he comes with us on a ride we can watch him disappear in a puff of tyre smoke while on the back wheel
Any ideas for the next ride and when?
Panik hope you are well, I was looking again at the picture of your bike did you actually hit the gaurd rail as there's a nice ding at the front of the frame and was not sure if it was the tyre or gaurdrail that caused it. Again hope all is well.
Colman and cOr hope to see you both on the next ride or when were thinking of going up the Old Road next?

Hey LW,
Are you telling me you dont ride in the rain?? And here I was thinking you were HARDCORE!!!! I tells ya, when it was pissing down, there was me on my mighty GS battling the elements and errant landcruiser drivers....  Experiencing the fury of the tempest, feeling mother natures wrath, sticking my hand up in the air shouting "IS THAT ALL YA GOT??". Watching the 7 car accident happen on military road.
Soft mate, very soft.

Lukewarm Wilson

 Yes I dont usually ride in the rain   unless I'm stuck out in it you have found the soft underbelly part of me. Thats what my car is for cold wet windy days.
I am HARDCORE   in the dry but softc--k when the weather comes in OHH the shame!!! :(
But hopefully I'll cure that with the Tazzy trip next year as I expect we will be rained on and the car will be 2 states away.
Now just to steer the conversation away from my shame got my new tyres, BT45 not scrubbed in yet but much better then the standard tyres.
One final thought maybe I'm not HARDCORE just LUKEWARM :dunno:

Muldoon

Touche old bean! Lukewarm you are. Now onto your tyres, I think they need a jolly good scrubbing. Hows about a blat up the old road and a pie on sunday??

Lukewarm Wilson

Sounds good as long as its not raining
But will let you know closer to the weekend but yes for now as I think I'm turning into a kitty cat and need some more riding time because my mate gets his Bandit on Friday and he is coming for me because I kept hassling him that I'll whoop his ass when he gets a bike ( I know I can't but it worked in tricking him into buying a bike so he could shut my mouth worse thing is he will :( )
So yep I'll be there :thumb:

Dang, Ill have to wash my bike now.....

Don't Panic.

Lukewarm Wilson

Cool Panik
Sunday Hornsby Pro cycles 11am just a quick ride for pies at lunch should have a good little group going me, Muldoon, Ben & Geoff on the euro trash (hopefully if Bens bike is ready) and another friend steve on his new Bandit 1200 which he got today. Hmm that means a pair of everything 2 GS500, 2 BMW 1150R and 2 Bandits :?  that should be fun.
Well hope to see you there 8)
Coleman, cOr and Matt are you free?

fingers crossed guys, weather report says rain for Sunday but hopefully they will be afternoon showers as its suppose to be 23c so the day should be OK maybe we should post messages on Sunday morning to confirm who will be going if it looks like rain if it looks good no need to worry.
BTW dosen't look like Ben will get his bike back by the weekend so it may be one big Suzuki run.
See you all there :thumb:
