Anything in particular that I should do outside of the manual?

you have no problem ripping the top end off of a GS aand then ask questions about the clutch?????
clutch takes...10-15 min max

speaking of clutches (dont mean to hijack this thread) but what is the difference between the barnett and a oem replacement? will you notice any difference for the street? what are some characteristics of the barnett?
going fast isnt the problem, its the crashing and burning that hurts

i installed a barnettt and it made my bike faster.  you will love the barnettt.  I think the gas mileage is better also.

I have a barnett clutch sitting in my shop waiting on me spend all that 10-15 minutes to install.

Main difference is in the material used for the friction plates. Most of the Barnetts use kevlar plates, the oem plates are cork based.
