What's up all,

I'm glad everyone has enjoyed reading and responding to their Freeway experience.  I just thought I would let the site know that I got a JOB!  You see, I have been a student on scholarships, and have not had to have a job fortunately.  Well the summer job I got can possibly benefit the rest of you all.  I am working for my local Suzuki/Kawa dealership selling parts.  Today was only my first day, and it was nice working and not studying all day.  I learned a good bit about the way the place works.  I am talking with the owner about offering parts online at a reduced rate than other dealers.  I am not sure how the out-of-state customer orders work, but I will do my best for everyone here if possible.  If anyone is in the Memphis area stop by and chat with me.  I post a business card below.  The job is really cool.  I get to help the showroom selling bikes/atv's and gear.  I am so thrilled about the job and after reading so much information about everything, I feel pretty comfortable talking about items.  Anyways, thought I would share.

Thanks,
Adam

Congradulations!

I used to be a m/c salesman, and one of the best pieces of advice I heard was this: The best question to ask a potential customer is, "Have you found what you're looking for?". If they have found what they're looking for you may have a sale. If they haven't ask "Can I help you find what you're looking for?" Worked for me!

Thanks for the support guys/gals.  I have found that it is difficult to hold my personal opinion on beginner bikes.  I am not on commission or anything, but damn everybody that comes in wants a damn 'Busa.  Then it is funny when they ask me what I ride. I just tell them the truth, then ask why I try explaining but they don't get it.  I mainly selling parts and would much rather stay there and keep my opinions to myself and wait for the idiots who buy the 600SS+ Bikes to sell them the stuff to fix them after they drop there expensive ass bikes. Oh well, "Live and Learn", as some gentleman once said.

And don't worry now that my job takes up more time than I can spend playing on here.  I won't stray to far. As a matter of fact, I am helping them get an online site for parts.

Thanks again.  :thumb:
