I broke my key in half last night and unfortunately, I don't have a spare. One of the the local places couldn't find a match for the key stock. Do I have to go to a locksmith or the dealer to get a replacement (I don't want to drive all over the place to find this out)?

I had to go to a locksmith. I only got one key with my bike. First thing I did was get a spare. Good luck.

I only had one key for mine. Went to the dealer and they cut me a new one for $5. Maybe they can help you with your 2 halves.

Dealer should be able to do it, one of those do-everything-real-cheap places probably won't have a Suzi blank but I believe a Volvo blank does the biz.

whent to cheap keymaker in the mall. Nissan blank worked for me...either that or the keymaker was good at making a copy with Nissan blank.
