I don't know where the pics are, but I am interested to here what people have to say. My bro hit a deer and has what appears to be the same, if not close to the same damage. The right engine case is damaged, and the ignition is busted.

i saw the picture... im no member!

dosent look awful!!!  if its just tht side...    i would check if any damage to wires, hoses, ect         were effected be4 riding

use the T-COlWs     or smething !!!!!!!!!! when ridiing :)

Looks like you slid along the right side of the bike and the little Suzuki logo cover is missing?
If that's what I'm looking at you may need to replace the gear underneath that cover... could cause cutting out on one cylinder after the bike heats up...  pretty common for a crash like that.  I had to replace mine from a previous owners spill.

You'll need to track down why it won't start - the piece I'm talking about I had to reaplce was the Signal Generator underneath that engine cover.  Does your engine even attempt to start or is it totally dead.  If you have a voltmeter you could test the current getting to your sparkplugs when you hit the starter button.  If you get no reading, then move up the line until you get one.  It's very common to need to replace the signal generator after a right-sdie spill/slide...
