Ill have this bike in  two weeks or less,  went and looked at it today,  started it up ran nice.

Seems pretty decent. I like the pipe and headers. THats a big bonus. The cosmetic damage is no big deal it seems. I dont know about price. Seems pretty good to me. Id pay that for it.

edit: I thought u were still bidding on the bike, I didn't realize you already bought it.

From the pictures it looks prett clean and like Rich said I wouldn't worry about the minor scratches. My only question is: I think all 89's came with a headlight and lower fairing. Maybe ask the owner if these parts are available; he might give them up for cheap congrats on the purchase

89=clipon's and aluminum linkage and no hole for shock top bolt wrench, and the removable frame piece in a bad location... among other things.
