found an old 1975  yamaha rd350 for sale cheap, however they said the motor is frozen

any ideas as to what it take to fix something like this

fresh oil?  piston seized?

any opinions as to what it may take to UN-freeze the little beast

Did it sit for a long time? If so, I would guess the pistons have rusted to the cylinders. When you buy one of these, and the motor wont turn over, it's always a good idea to take the motor apart anyway to see the condition of the internals. Check if bearings have rusted together, effectively immobilizing the crank. Rod bearings rusted to the crank, crank bearings rusted...
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
