Getting my bike tomorrow

Did you guys get your bikes?  Any riding yet?  If so, what are your thoughts on it?

I got mine.. I only rode it  like maybe a 1/4mile,   To a stop sign and back.

But i noticed a few minor problems

Well first in case anyone dosent know what it is, its a 89 GS500.

Well first when i got back from my stop sign and back trip I did a turn in the road to park the bike on the other side of the road.  Well the guy must of put the throttle cable in the wrong spot cause the bike reved up to about 5,000 rpm when i turned the handle bars, Luckily i was coasting with the clutch in when I turned around.  I fixed that today though so it all good.

The only other problems are the low beam head light is burnt out or something but the high beam works.

And the neutral light dosent work

but otther than that it seem like a real nice bike ill take pics as soon as i can.

Congrats on the new bike - I just picked up mine late last week too!  I also got an '89.  Soo much fun, I've been riding all over with it.  Hope you have as much fun as I am with it.
