Holy Crap, Shifter Karts are Fast!!!!

Sunday, I got an invite to come go karting with some of my engineering friends. I figured that we were just doing 5-6 horsepower fun karts. As it turns out, this guy is a huge Kart driver, and he had a fleet of 125cc Rotax karts for us. THOSE ARE INSANELY FAST.
On top of that, he offered to let me drive the 125 Honda Shifter Kart. I thought riding a CBR was the fastest thing I would ever be on, but powersliding a corner at 90 miles an hour on something about 1/2 the size of my mattress is just ridiculous.  :mrgreen:

Arnt shifter karts amazing? God damn, you can scare the hell out of yourself pretty quik on one.
When I was younger, my best friend and I each had one, and would terrorize the neighbourhood. It was classic.
I think there is no better feeeling than powersliding something half the size of a matress at 90 mph. That is a huge rush!

The Flat Shifter karts are only about 1.5seconds slower than the Champ cars here at PIR.
The champ cars are hitting around 180-1980mph max speed in the straights, and the karts are only hitting around 130mph max.
