Does anyone know the correct grip size for the GS?  I am looking at getting some aftermarket grips and I see that they come in different sizes.  The most comon ones that I see are for 7/8" bars I belive, but they have different lenghts.

Anyone have the proper specs to look for?

Thanks
Andy

Look for any 7/8" grips . That's pretty much the standard size for aftremarket grips.

Many grips don't like to fit correctly over the throttle sleeve.  They'll slip on, but the Suzuki throttle has umm... I guess I'd call them flanges at either end to keep the grip from sliding off the bar.  I have a set of aftermarket grips right now, They're nice but the throttle grip is kinda squished between the 2 flanges.

7/8th diameter. The lengths differ between makers. Some have capped ends, others do not. I bought a pair of Lockhart Superbike grips that were too long and cut them with diagonal cutters to fit.
