so how do you go about buying a mercury switch without the FBI coming to visit you?   :?
LIFE should NOT be a journey to the GRAVE with the intention of arriving SAFELY in an attractive and well PRESERVED body, but rather to SKID in sideways, CIGAR in one hand, favorite beverage in the other, body thoroughly USED UP, totally WORN OUT, and screaming WOW - WHAT A RIDE!

Very cool idea.  you could also put in a timer relay to sound the alarm for a few minutes and then stop.

has anyone thought of simply putting a switch on the sidestand so that if switch isn't flicked (hidden somewhere, maybe under the seat) when the sidestand is kicked up it sets off an very loud horn?

yes wires would be exsposed but the person stealing it would have to start cutting wires he/she doesn't exactly know where are

enough to maybe get them to move on to another bike?
