Need to reroute the throttle?

Then it's tight. Try if adjusting throttle cable length alone (making the sheath shorter) will make the problem go away. Gas cable play should be 0.5 to 1 mm (you should be able to pull the sheath by that amount before you actually pull on the cable.)

Make sure the choke cable is not the problem.  When I put on the GenMar risers that moved the bars up and back, had exactly the same problem.  Turning the bars full lock right speeded up the engine.  The choke cable runs around the front of the left fork leg and is pulled tighter on right turn of bars.  I would expect the opposite if the the throttle cable is the cause.   :dunno:

I rerouted the choke cable behind the fork leg to fix, easy enough to do.
