Anyone use Bohn Body Armor?

I give up on trying to buy a pair of pants with some protection that I can use in the summer.
I'm thinking of getting the Bohn pants. My only question is how hot will
it get if I'm going to wear jeans over them?

Those look really sweet, sorta remind me of my paintball sliding shorts.  The armor will stay in place, unlike on some pants where the armor pads might float around in a crash.  And there's a heavily armored version.  Unfortunately, the Bohn pants don't provide abrasion protection, so after the initial impact, skidding down the road on your butt will leave some nasty rash when your jeans wear through!

if those are spanex, they're gonna get hot as hell, i'm thinking of trying to find some pads, and just attaching them inside a pair of jeans, pretty much the same idea, i'll see how it goes

Some people need to grow a back bone and know when to tell their friends to shut the f*** up.

On topic though, that air cool armor looks pretty slick.  Its a bit of a turnoff that they don't say what the "exclusive elastic mesh" is made with.

Have you tried Draggin' Jeans? They're made with kevlar in the seat and the knees, and you can also order a pair with body armor stitched into the panels at the hips, knees and butt.
