I'm probably the only one, but my handlebars are driving me nuts. I'm getting a lot of vibration and my hands wind up going numb. I figured half of my problem was just how my body was positioned and I was putting a lot of my weight up on my hands, but even after that, my hands are still sore and my right thumb goes numb...anyone know of a good aftermarket bar or grips to put on the '04 yet?
I tried to set my hotmail password to pee pee. It said my password wasn't long enough. :(

Katana grips have been suggested in the past but a loose grip and tight stomach and time will cure the soarness.

Got 'em - with gel cushioning as well...but thanks for the insight...

GenMar risers solved that problem for me.

Sore hands... is it due to bar vibrations, or using the clutch and brake for long periods?  On long trips, my hands hurt if I use the clutch and brake too much.  More riding makes my grip better, so now it hurts less.

A solution to the vibration? The Bar Snake :)

the solution to vibration in part is good tune.  I know i tuned the carbs when i last adjusted my valve clearance and one or both of them helped alot.  Float levels might help too?  It'll never be perfect, but i've never had any problem with my hands going numb.

My hands used to hurt like hell in in town traffic, but that was because i was keeping my arms stiff when I used the brakes.  Now I hold on to the tank with my knees and let my arms relax.  Much better.
