What parts do I need for a fork seal swap?

I'm going to replace my fork oil seals and oil this weekend.
Other than the fork seals, what other parts do I need to replace?

Is it really up to how the old parts look?

Thanks.

pretty much

the main things to consider are the bushings (not likely to need replacing) and the dust seals.  you can tell if the dust seals need replacing by looking at them while still on the bike... it's just the outer seal on each fork.

see this thread for some good tips and information from several people, as well as some links to more good tips and information, like part numbers, etc.

good luck!

Great news! I just saved a bundle on car insurance by switching to a motorcycle!
