Mr Hyde

I'll send you a PM in a sec
05' GS500 E to F conversion, sm2, progressive springs, 15t sprocket, Kat rear wheel. K&N, V&H pipe, jets, 110/150 rubber/ flushmount led's, zero gravity DB, and other things to tinker on

I will be ordering a carbon fiber one for sure if I end up getting a GS500 in a few years, those look amazing!

Stupid hurts. Dress for the crash, not for the ride.

i received the rear hugger today.

less than one week to come to ireland.

I must say that packaging was perfect.
hugger came undamaged and along with instructions and parts necessary to fit it (just lack a stud gun )

Quality is amazing.

My best thanks to Jeff  :thumb:

update:

I installed the hugger last week: perfect fit.

I've done 550km yersteday under lashing rain and I must admit the hugger is doing a brilliant job protecting the shock  :thumb:

Only drawback: my suspension looks to be too soft since there is now scratches on both sides of the hugger where the undertray hits it

I now have to find a way to tune the shock  :dunno_white:

I've never had a problem with that..but i had my stock shock set on the hardest setting....

Anyway one can be made to fit a 150 rear tire?

I measured the inside width of the hugger and it is 165mm...so technically it will fit a 150, obviously there won't be alot of clearance, this would also require that the stock chaingaurd and brake torque arm are in place and unmodified since it is designed to fit over these. I would think that you would have to raise it up slightly too with some shims if the tire is taller as well.

A couple of carbon fibre left for whoever still wants one...

If you happen to see this , i'm the one emailing you concerning the CF huggers dude  :thumb: I was looking at a ZZR 600 , but after the past few days of riding i'm REALLY liking my GS all over again . I've been riding with quite a few 600cc'ers & a couple 1000cc'ers , and when we get to the good twisty roads around my house I can leave them in the dust . I just want to get rid of that big country-a$$ed headlight and get the hugger on and I'll be posting pics of my "ricer-rat"  :icon_twisted:
