I reckon that means you won Slips... John's post don't count  :flipoff:

My last car was a 1984 Mazda 323 Deluxe wagon... I seem to recall it had well over 340,000km's on the clock when it got traded on my house mate's Daewoo ute thing (I never drove the Mazda any more) and it still went like a champ... air con... 1488cc motor... 5 speed... that thing was great! Hardly used a scrap of oil too, was just a little tired is all.

Now just for you Yankee fellas... here's what it was like yesterday:

You got it Jester! First good weather ride since fettling with the needles, springs, and going back to the biggest mains I've got too. One particular stretch of windy good fun was sooooooooo much better than ever before! It was by far the most fun I've had on the 450 yet  :thumb:

I still need bigger mains though...  :dunno_black:

Tapatalk works again. My life is complete.

Need a new battery since I've limped along for 6 months with this one.  Thinking of an AGM version this time. Yuasa water level driving me batty.

A young Catholic girl went to confession and said to the priest, "I'm pregnant."
He asked, "How did this happen, my child?"
She said, "I think it must have been the second coming."
The priest, shocked by this reply, asked, "What makes you think this has anything to do with the Second Coming?"
She replied, "Because I swallowed the first one!!"

A chicken farmer went to a local bar ... sat next to a woman and ordered a glass of champagne.
The woman perks up and says, "How about that? I just ordered a glass of champagne, too!"

"What a coincidence," the farmer says, "This is a special day for me, I'm celebrating."

"This is a special day for me too, I'm also celebrating!" says the woman.

"What a coincidence" says the man.
As they clinked glasses the farmer asked, "What are you celebrating?"

"My husband and I have been trying to have a child, and today my gynaecologist told me that I'm pregnant!"

"What a coincidence," says the man .....
"I'm a chicken farmer and for years all my hens were infertile, but today they're finally laying fertilized eggs."

"That's great!" says the woman, "How did your chickens become fertile?"

"I used a different chicken," he replied.....

The woman smiled and said, "What a coincidence"

Looks like I'm probably up for a new battery too... hasn't wanted to crank real well lately, particularly when hot which is a PITA if I stall at the lights. Have to wait 10 seconds or so before she'll crank.

I suspected starter motor but it's now starting to do it when cold as well and my charging indicator is flashing with undervoltage when it happens so I'm really thinking battery...

Got it on trickle charge overnight so I reckon if she fires up nice and easy in the morning straight after disconnecting the trickle charger it will tell me it's the battery.

Motobatt's ain't cheap though! Gonna be near $120 from what I can see... I can get a good old acid one for less than $60...
