i had poblems with power surge, rough idle, and one cyl to rich. some dudes tryed to tell my floats are warped and said i needed new floats, needle valves, seats and a bunch of other stuff(rebuild carbs for way to much $) so i told them to put it all back together and have it running the best they could.
i went and picked up the bike but almost didn't make it home. it acted like it was flooding at mid range rpm(5000-7000) so if i let it sit for a minute it wouild start and run at low rpm.  now it won't start at all.  it would be great if you could help me because the jackasses down the road were just trying rip me off.
thank you
Title: If no leaks...

If it has no leaks, rebuilding wont do anyhting. Floats are easy to set, so I'll guide you through it, and you'll be fine. Other carb issues ok then send it to me. Cos floats are too simple to be even worth the shipping back and forth. Anyway post pics or somehitng and people here will sort it out. And I'll try too. First step... put bike on center stand and do U tube method for checking floats.
Cool.
