Whats the best way to hook them up?
Jsut got one with my carb kits and was wondering the different ways I can use it
Are you talking about the bungee type nets for the backseat? If so there are 2 rails that run the length of the rear plastics. Those hooks on the net hook onto these rails. You can hook them on by going over the plastics and then over the seat, or the method I prefer is the put the hooks on the inside of the plastic and out around the seat. This protects the paint on the plastics from gettin scratched.

I removed the hooks completly and ran a peice of rope through and tied it to fit around the underside of my seat.
Nothiing ever got scratched and it was set to the perfect tightness. It never stretch out the net when not in use but still on the seat and still held pakages great. See my sig pic.
Also, you can remove your seat without having to remove the net with this setup. Handy, if you use the helmet lock often.
I took off 2 of the hooks in the middle, now there are just 4 hooks, one on each corner. I hook the 2 front hooks to either side of the bike, on the metal bar under the side plastics, streching over the seat. I hook the 2 end to hooks together, streching them around the tail light.

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but the whole cargo net setup was more of a hassle for me. Besides having the metal hooks scratching my plastic side panels, the cargo net was extremely hard to get on and off my backpack (very tight fit). Granted, some cargo nets out there are more flexible than others. Personally, I think mine was on the stiff (less elastic) side. The problem is there is a limitation on them (i.e. one size fits all).

I'm glad I did. It is so easy to get on and off and there is no metal to scratch the plastic. I only need one, but two could be used for large loads.
