Post by: GVH on July 06, 2004, 05:21:23 PM
I was going to powder coat my gs500 frame but as I have been laid up for 6-8 weeks money will be a bit short. Whats the best way to handle the surface rust behind the steerring head ??

The best solution is to put a Type R sticker over it and ignore the problem until it fizes itself :dunno:

That'a what I did with my civic. the frame rotted through.

I will try sand blasting after the collasr  bone and hand heal.  Now I need a new frame and forks for my 750 Kat. Stupidity hurts.
