Title: Inexpensive Windsheild. with pics
Post by: cummuterguy on July 10, 2004, 10:13:26 AM
Hi guys... just thought I's show what I installed this morning. It's a cheap windsheild, but I think it looks pretty good for the price, and it functions well. It's from a company called EMGO and I got it for 64.95
http://store.cycleone.com/catalog/default.php?cPath=33_148_362  here is where I bought it, although I didn't have it shipped I just went there, its so close to me.

sorry the pictures are not very good, the sunshine is too hard for my little cameraphone to adjust for.
The install was pretty easy, i had to bend the brackets the came with the kit, but that was pretty straight forward. the whole job took about 1.5 hours, including messing around with some other stuff while I was out there.

Sorry all I see are little red x's.
But I have seen the screen you talking about and I am thinking about getting one as well. Should look great.

what sort of problems are you having, exactly? there was two V-shaped brackets supplied that you are supposed to put under the main headlight bolts. I had to bend them into a narrower V (almost a U)
I just took some pictures. gimme a sec and I'll put them on here

Easy install!!!
I think I just might pick up the same one. Looks great, and it looks like it will add a fair amount of wind protection.
