Okay, here's the setup:
Jardine full exhaust
K&N individual pod filters (not the lunchbox pod)
Santa Cruz, CA (elevation ~20 ft, avg. humidity ~30%)
Here's what my shopping list looks like:
Mikuni #40 non bleeder pilot jets (2) (N151/067)
Mikuni #150 large round main jets (2) (N100/604)
#4 Washers (4)
Am I good to go? This is the right jetting combination for my setup, isn't it? If it makes any difference, I do plan on adding an advancer at some point.
How much of a difference is there with the individual pods vs. the lunchbox pod?
If it helps, that looks a lot what I came up with. I can't tell you how it runs though. My engine is in many, many pieces at the moment. Should be fixing that this weekend though.
yoshi full exhaust
K&N pod filter
MN (no idea what elevation is)
mikuni 40 pilots
mikuni 147.5 mains (not sure why i didn't go with the 150s, but I have the 147.5s and I'll swap later if I need to)
#4 washers (4)
Please let me know how this works for you performance wise? I was dissappointed in the K&N with stock exhaust. Also, I really like Santa Cruz. I taught my kids to body surf by the boardwalk. We froze and got really bad sunburns but it was worth it.
lol, yeah Santa Cruz is great. i'll be sure to update everyone on how this setup works. i'll be ordering these parts today.
I have a ton of friends from there. I live in San Diego right now, but i used to go to school up in the NOrth bay area. Don't miss the freezing water! I like to go play on the beach and see lots, lots of hot chicks in bikinis. Let me know how it goes, i bought a dynojet kit... i'll go that way, you go yours. Good luck!
