Get me up to speed here, are frame sliders the same as crash bars? Cause I had crash bars on an old FLH and they connected to the frame on the downtubes at the front and at the front seat strut mounting point and lower frame lug at the back. I loved that bike :( , but now I've got the GS500 and this forum :)

typically i see sliders bolted on with extended motor mount bolts.....the motor mounts on the gs seem just too small to hold something like a slider...and how would you get those long bolts that are used on the gs even longer...
i know about those little 'C' shaped case savers...those dont seem to protect enough of the bike...kerry has a neat cage almost...but for more than $100 im sure...any way i need something bad....

Are you stunting the baby GS500? Whatever you're usin' I can see why you need the sliders. More Cojones than I got fella. Luv the bike, luv the forum.
