Title: Choke
Post by: Meighan on July 22, 2004, 01:09:58 PM
Does anyone have a picture of how the choke assembly all goes together? I put everything back on my bars last night, but I forgot the choke, and I'm unsure as to how it all fits together.

I do yave a clymer repair manual, will it be in there? I haven't looked as I didn't have it with me last night (long story, don't ask) and right now I'm at work and it's at home.

Help??  Thanks :)

You've got an '02, right?  The choke (at least at the carb end of the cable) is another item that apparently changed as of the 2001 model.  Older manuals won't show the correct info and the  pictures (http://www.bbburma.net/MiscFotos/100_0130_IdleScrew_ChokeCable.jpg) from my '99 (http://www.bbburma.net/MiscFotos/100_0130_ChokeCableCloseUp.jpg) won't help much either.

And somehow I don't think the BikeBandit Carburetor (http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/showschematic.asp?dept_id=723022) and Handle Switch (http://houseofmotorcycles.bikebandit.com/partsbandit/showschematic.asp?dept_id=713025) diagrams will tell you much....
