Alot the stuff you mentioned is pretty basic, routine and easy to take care of. The more you ride, the more you'll get the "feel" for when somthing is off- so it's good for you to check everything you mentioned and make sure it's in spec.

However, if your bike only has 2600 mile on it- you probably don't need to worry about the valves yet-  My 2001 went 16,000 miles before it's first check and they were only one shim size off on two valves.

ya, i'd wager most of that stuff is unneccesary. i'd make sure your forks aren't leaking, change the oil, clean the chain real well, adjust idle if neccesary, pull the plugs to make sure they're the correct color, and make sure your tires are in good condition/properly aired. those should pretty much get you running well and you should be able to tell if there are any other problems.

damn, you've got way too many things listed. 2600 miles is still infancy.

I bought a 2001 with 1600 miles on it, I bought a clymer manual and checked all those things myself.  I haven't checked the valves yet, I'm gonna wait until about 10,000 miles.  I'm at 3700 now.

BTW, you really need to learn the simple things like adjusting your idle, most of the things you listed are very simple tasks, you don't need to pay a dealer for that.  That what this forum is for... asking 'How do I..."

i wouldn't bother messing with the swing arm bearings after such a low mileage

Hi

Thanks a lot for your valuable feed backs. Really appreciate it.

As Stephen072774 suggested, I bought a clymer manual and now will do all the check and inspects myself.

That leaves only engine oil / filter change and spark plugs.

Thanks once again,

On my 2001 I checked the valves at 600 - one was tight, 4000 and a different one was tight, 7000 all was well and at 10,000 one more was tight.  Way different than the 1980 GS 450 I owned back in the dark ages - did all the checks and never had one out of adjustment in over 15,000 miles
