thats the home made rear rack mounts. alittle rough do to it all being done by eyeball. with a band saw and my tourch bottles refilled and could make them MUCH nicer and strong enough to hang the bike from. the chrome part is an old harley 6pack rack. but i plan to remake the deck area with more plate.

few overall shots, home made plate aluminum 1/4 fairing and DRZ mirrors (love these. they fold up when the bike is dropped)

im going to be working on getting a better digital camera, i just got my capture card so perhaps i can do some live action shots of work that i do.

Yeah ... NOW we're talkin'!  :thumb:

QUESTION: The tail rack seems like it must be attached to the underside of the subframe.  Is that right?  Not to push my luck, but is there any way you could get a shot of that underneath part of the rack?

I won't be lining up to buy one of your 1/4 fairings  , but it looks like it does the job!  Does it give you decent wind protection, and do you have to lay on the tank to get it?

Looking forward to the "live action shots"!  8)

yeah, there are bolting points on the cargo tie bars that bolt to the subframe.   i just tied into those for the lowers, i will see about snapping another shot of the lower bolting point.  the 1/4 fairing was "play time" fabrication, had 20 mins to burn on the clock, hmm, scrap of alum laying here next to a, oh my, a shear/break machine, and looky there, a sheet metal bender.  it will probly be coming off here shortly as i want to make a box to hold the in the headlight bucket and mount some dual spotlight rally driving lights for headlight.  its a 50w/55w spot lamp so i will still have high and low beam

Looks kinda "Mad Max".

Cool if that is what you had that in mind.

Ya, I agree. Some flat black paint would do wonders for that rack though.

Dude you can flip that over and its a killer 12 O' Clock bar! Perfect for the stand-up wheelies our GS's are prone to do sometimes
