Title: Question on Tank Hoses

I took of my tank yesterday and was confused on some of the hosing. There are two that clearly connect to the petcock, one l shaped drain hose. But then there is another with red stripes that I can't find any description for in my Clymers. Does anyone know what this hose is for?
