i did the timing advance the other day and the bike seems to be idling ruff could i have gone to far.                                                                         nick

Just did mine this weekend with no problems.  You marked the holes 3mm off of each one and turned it counter-clockwise right?  Take the cover off and make sure your contacts aren't rubbing with the bike running.

What's the part# on your rotor, you may have a CA that can be turned farther.

my bikes an 04' and im in mass. so i dont think its a cally. and i did turn it counter clockwise. but i went for my first real ride since i did the mod and it seemed to be better. it was prob just cuz it was still cold the other day.
