Title: Fenderectomy -- the legal issues
Post by: cay on August 01, 2004, 06:39:56 AM
I've been looking for the specific fender-related inspection requirements in NY before going ahead with my fenderectomy -- I don't want to run into raylarrbee's situation (http://www.gstwins.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10229) next spring.

In your experience, is the remainder of the typical chopped fender 'good enough'?

I spent some time googling for the appropriate terms (motorcycle dmv inspection fender legal etc.) and came up empty-handed.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

thanks,

C

just chop it off.  I can send you my bootleg "Lexan & LiquidNails" fender if you need something temporary for inspection
