Title: Fieldsheer Sizing ?
Post by: xaeniac on August 01, 2004, 10:18:00 AM
I was curious as what size Fieldsheer Mach 2 jacket would I wear.  I went to try on a Joe Rocket Phoenix 3.0 jacket at my local motorcycle shop and found the XL fit me the best.  Is the Fieldsheer sizing comparable to the JR Phoenix?  I am 6'0 160 Lbs. tall and lanky.  I found the JR sleeves to be too short except for the XL.  Anyone with the same build as me or close?  What size would you recommend?

I have a fieldsheer jacket and pants, but I am not, by any stretch of the imagination, the same build as you...I'm much fatter and a bit taller (6'6", 225)

I have a size 48 jacket, and the arms fit just fine.  Pants are a 38 waist, I think.  Both sizes are what I wear in a suit, so I guess their sizing is pretty accurate.

Hope that helps.

Incidentally, what model of geear are you getting?  I have Sonic Air jacket ans pants, and they're fantastic.

I am going to be buying the Mach 2 jacket as I do not own any motorcycle jacket.  I have decided to buy a tape so I can measure my dimensions and buy according to their scale

I am 6'!1" 150 lbs. I got a small FS mach 1 off ebay. With all gear in the jacket it fits great. The sleeves are still  long.  Its wide enough in the shoulders, but if yours are exceptionally broad then get a size up.
