Another quick question..
Going on speeds above 50mph, i start noticing a vibration in the handlebars. I assume that is what the end bar weights are there for, on the handlebars.
I imagine the vibration just continues as the speed goes up.
I plan on doing a little bit of interstate riding this weekend, like an hour and a half, to new orleans. I was just wondering if there is any way to combat the vibration, or do i just have to get used to it?
Would a pair of gloves help reduce the ill effects ( numbness of the hand, as if i was pushing a lawn mower for an hour.)
thanks,
robert
Gloves will help little, but yep you just have to get used to it.
I thought it was jsut me at first
Get yourself some gloves. Even if I ride without my jacket (rare) my gloves and helmet are manditory. I can't imagine riding without them. Not to mention a fall, a large bug on the knuckle hurts like heck.
I was just out riding yersterday and was commenting to myself how it's good for the circulation.
i bought gel grips off e-bay for 6 bucks and they are great....the vibration may be there but the hands do not feel it.
thanks for all the tips, i'll be stopping by my suzuki dealer to see what they have in the way of grips.
and of gloves.
you should be wearing kevlar gloves anyhow....crashing hurts...trust me i know
fat squishy grips, gloves, bar ends and riding with the rpm's low
if you're really serious, you can try this product out as well. i don't know anyong that has, but it might be worth a look.
